Jammu, July 24, July 24 -- Traffic on the Jammu, Srinagar National Highway remained suspended on Friday as landslides and continuous shooting stones at several vulnerable locations continued to block the strategic road connecting Kashmir with the rest of the country. Officials said restoration work is in progress at affected stretches, including Trishul Mode in Ramban district. However, persistent rainfall, unstable slopes, and falling debris have hampered clearance operations, making the highway unsafe for vehicular movement. Authorities have urged commuters and transporters to avoid travelling on the highway until fresh traffic advisories are issued.
