Srinagar, Sept. 29 -- There was a time when waiting was simply a part of life. People waited for letters to arrive, for photographs to be developed, for a favourite programme to come on television, for a bus to reach the stop and sometimes even for months to meet someone they loved. Waiting was not always pleasant, but it was familiar. Today, much of that waiting has disappeared. A message can cross the world in seconds, a meal can arrive at the doorstep with a few taps, a film can begin whenever we want, and an answer to almost any question can be found instantly.
