Srinagar, April 20, April 21 -- Residents of Natipora area in Srinagar are grappling with a growing stray dog menace, raising concerns over public safety and hygiene. Locals say the number of stray dogs has increased significantly over the past few months, leading to frequent incidents of dog bites and constant fear among children and elderly people. According to residents, packs of dogs roam freely in lanes and marketplaces, especially during early morning and late evening hours.
