Srinagar, Oct 30, Oct. 30 -- The State Press Forum Jammu and Kashmir on Friday called for a revision of government advertisement rates and highlighted various issues affecting newspaper organisations and journalists during a meeting with Director Information Mamta Yadav, IAS. The delegation met Yadav to discuss the economic difficulties confronting print media institutions, particularly in view of rising inflation, printing expenses and other operational costs. The representatives stressed that the existing advertisement rates needed to be revised to help newspapers sustain their operations.
