Srinagar, July 10, July 11 -- The heat wave persisted across Kashmir on Friday with Srinagar recording a maximum temperature of 34.5 degrees Celsius, which was 4.8 degrees above normal. According to data compiled by Kashmir Weather, Qazigund recorded a maximum temperature of 32.0degC, which was 4.1degC above normal, while Pahalgam settled at 28.0degC, 2.7degC above normal.Kupwara recorded 33.0degC, 2.2degC above normal, while Kokernag registered 31.0degC, 3.4degC above normal. Tourist resort Gulmarg also witnessed unusual warmth, recording 24.9degC, which was 3.9degC above normal.In the Jammu region, Jammu city recorded 34.5degC, marginally 0.2degC above normal.
