Srinagar Police Seizes Drug-Linked Properties Worth Over Rs 6.22 Crore in Six Cases
Srinagar, Sept. 10 -- Srinagar Police has attached and frozen immovable properties worth more than Rs 6.22 crore in six cases registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act as part of its ongoing action against drug trafficking. The latest proceedings were carried out by Police Stations Nigeen and Zakura, while similar action had earlier been taken by Police Stations Shalteng, Ahmad Nagar and Lal Bazar. In the latest action, Nigeen Police attached a double-storey residential house and adjoining land at Danihama in Hazratbal, valued at around Rs 1.10 crore. The property belongs to Mubashir Ashiq Teeli and is linked to FIR No. 24/2026 registered under Section 8/21 of the NDPS Act. The action was taken under Section 68-F...
