Srinagar police hold anti-drug rally
Srinagar, June 1, June 2 -- Srinagar Police on Monday organized a drug awareness rally in the city under the 100-Day Drug-Free Jammu and Kashmir Campaign and Drug-Free India Campaign, mobilizing students, traders and local residents against substance abuse. The initiative forms part of continuing efforts by police to combine enforcement with public awareness in addressing growing concerns over drug addiction, particularly among youth.The rally commenced from Police Station Maisuma and passed through Ghanta Ghar and Lal Chowk before culminating at Pratap Park.The event witnessed participation from students of Gowsia Middle School Maisuma, members of the Traders Association Lal Chowk, local shopkeepers and residents of the area.Officials sa...
