Srinagar, Sep 13, Sept. 14 -- The District Wushu Championship Srinagar 2026, organised by the District Wushu Association Srinagar, commenced today at the Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar, with an impressive opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was graced by Mr. Kuldeep Handoo, Dronacharya Awardee and Chief Coach of India, followed by Mr. Mohammed Maqsood Rather, Joint Secretary, Wushu Association of J&K. Mr. Sadat Nisar Wani, Vice President, Wushu Association of J&K, Mr. Waqar Khan, Mr. Ajaz Hussain, Mr. Rameez Ahmad Dar, and Mr. Irfan Ahmad Wani were also present on the occasion.The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation of around 400 players from different clubs, schools and institutions of Srinagar district.
