Srinagar, April 9, April 10 -- The Jammu Division of Northern Railway has achieved another milestone by successfully operating a special train number 04689/04690 (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra - Banihal - Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra) between Katra and Banihal today. Through this special train service, more than 1,000 passengers completed their journey, strengthening rail connectivity in the region. This special service was introduced to provide better connectivity between Kashmir and Katra after road traffic was disrupted due to heavy rainfall.
