Mizoram, June 5, June 6 -- On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, formations under Spear Corps carried out extensive tree plantation drives and environmental awareness programmes across Mizoram. The initiatives witnessed active participation from personnel who planted saplings of various indigenous species as part of efforts to enhance green cover and promote biodiversity in the region.Alongside plantation activities, awareness drives were also organised to highlight the importance of environmental protection, sustainable living, and ecological balance.
