Sopore, Oct 22, KNT, Oct. 23 -- One lane of the Sopore Bypass Bridge is scheduled to remain closed for 10 days from October 22 to facilitate repair work, according to a traffic-related order. The temporary closure will affect a section of the bypass at kilometre 1.954, where repair work is scheduled to be undertaken until October 31.The restriction is intended to facilitate maintenance work while allowing traffic management arrangements to be put in place for the duration of the repairs.Commuters using the bypass have been advised to remain alert to traffic regulation measures in the affected stretch and follow directions issued by the authorities.
