Srinagar, Nov 8, Nov. 8 -- Srinagar Police have registered a case following an alleged incident of intimidation involving the brandishing of an official firearm at Saderbal in the Hazratbal area. According to police, a complaint was lodged by Hilal Ahmad Mir, son of Mohd Sultan Mir and a resident of Saderbal, alleging that Junaid Ahmad Band, son of retired DySP Mohd Yousuf Band, threatened and intimidated him while allegedly brandishing the service weapon of a Police Security Officer deployed with the accused's father. Police said FIR No. 123/2026 has been registered at Police Station Nigeen under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
