Shopian Police Attach Residential House Worth Rs.16.77 Lakh in Drug Trafficking Case
Shopian, August 30, Aug. 30 -- Shopian Police have attached a residential house valued at Rs.16,77,448, allegedly acquired through proceeds generated from the illegal trade of drugs and narcotics. The property belongs to Hilal Ahmad Dar, son of Gh Ahmad Dar, a resident of Vehil, Shopian. The attachment has been carried out in connection with FIR No. 80/2024 registered at Police Station Shopian. The proceedings were conducted in the presence of a duly constituted police team, Executive Magistrate, Lambardar and Chowkidar. Officials said all prescribed legal procedures were followed during the action. Shopian Police said the attachment forms part of its ongoing campaign against the illegal drug trade.
