Manipur, June 8, June 9 -- Intelligence-based joint operations conducted by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles under Spear Corps, in close coordination with Manipur Police, from May 31 to June 6, 2026, led to significant security gains across multiple districts of Manipur. The coordinated operations were carried out in both hill and valley districts, including Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur, Chandel, Kakching, Thoubal, and Tengnoupal.During the week-long operations, security forces apprehended 25 cadres involved in various unlawful activities.
