Rajouri, Sep 3, Sept. 3 -- The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thannamandi has ordered an enquiry into the death of a 58-year-old man at the Public Health Centre (PHC) Thannamandi after locals alleged medical negligence. The deceased, identified as Shokit Shawl, reportedly died following a cardiac arrest. Residents alleged that lapses on the part of medical staff at the health centre contributed to the death and demanded a fair investigation. Taking cognizance of the allegations, the SDM wrote to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri, stating that the matter was serious and involved the delivery of essential public health services.
