Srinagar, March 3, March 4 -- The government on Tuesday ordered the closure of all educational institutions in the Kashmir division till March 7 as a precautionary measure following protests in parts of the Valley. Education Minister Sakina Itoo said the decision was taken to ensure the safety of students amid the prevailing situation."All schools, colleges and universities in Kashmir will remain closed till March 7," Itoo told reporters, adding that the situation was being closely monitored and a decision on reopening would be taken after reviewing ground conditions.The decision comes in the wake of protests over killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in joint US-Israeli strikes.Meanwhile, University of Kashmir has also ...
