Jammu, Aug 13, Aug. 14 -- With the objective of further strengthening passenger convenience and revenue security, Jammu Division today signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Bank of India (SBI) for cash pickup facility. Under this new agreement, SBI will provide cash pickup facility at 18 additional railway stations in Jammu Division. With this expansion, cash pickup facility will now be available at a total of 67 railway stations in Jammu Division.Problems faced earlier:Security Risk: At stations where cash pickup facility was not available, large amounts of cash had to be kept at the station for several days.
