Srinagar, May 3, May 4 -- One of Kashmir's most iconic running events, the Run for Shahrekhaas (Old City), is set to make a grand comeback after nearly a decade. The event, last held in 2015, is being revived by Fucan Sports in collaboration with KSW, with Khyber Cement as the title sponsor. The initiative is further supported by NITians Career Institute, Paristaan Group, Media Line, and Adlife. Scheduled for May 17, 2026, the 10-kilometre heritage run aims to celebrate the rich cultural legacy of Srinagar's Old City while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among youth.
