Jiribam, Sep 3, Sept. 4 -- In a major anti-narcotics operation, Assam Rifles, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jiribam Police recovered 10.891 kg of brown sugar, valued at approximately Rs.80 crore, from Makha Basti along JT Road in Jiribam, Manipur. Acting on specific intelligence inputs, the joint security team launched an operation in the area and intercepted an individual suspected of involvement in the illegal narcotics trade.During the search, the security personnel recovered 10.891 kg of brown sugar, along with Indian currency notes and a mobile handset.
