Aizawl, Sep 13, Sept. 14 -- In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Assam Rifles, in a swift intelligence-led joint operation with the Seling Naka Party of Aizawl DEF and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), seized 6.991 kg of methamphetamine tablets worth approximately Rs.5.59 crore in Mizoram. The operation was launched at Seling on September 11, 2026, following specific intelligence inputs regarding the movement of narcotics in the area.During the operation, the joint team intercepted two vehicles and apprehended two individuals.
