Rs.4 Crore worth properties attached in NDPS cases
Srinagar, June 8, June 9 -- Srinagar Police on Monday attached immovable properties worth approximately Rs.4 crore in separate actions under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, intensifying efforts to target the financial infrastructure allegedly linked to narcotics trafficking in the Valley. The action forms part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyaan, under which law enforcement agencies have increasingly focused on identifying and attaching assets suspected to have been acquired through proceeds generated from the illegal drug trade.In one of the major actions, Police Station Sangam attached assets worth around Rs.3 crore belonging to Gulam Ahmad Dar of Srinagar in connection with a case registered ...
