Srinagar, Aug 7, Aug. 8 -- In a significant breakthrough against property crime, Srinagar Police has solved a major theft case and recovered stolen property worth approximately Rs.17.5 lakhs. The case was registered at Police Station Rainawari as FIR No. 35/2026 under Sections 305 and 331(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) following a complaint lodged by Mohd Amin Changa, son of Mohd Yousuf Changa, resident of Changa Mohalla, Mir Behri, Dal, Rainawari, regarding a theft at his residence. During the investigation, Police identified one accused namely Mohd Hussain Latoo, son of Mohd Afzal Latoo, resident of Akhoon Mohalla, Mir Behri, Dal, Rainawari.
