Jammu, July 30, July 30 -- The Jammu district administration has suspended a revenue official and initiated dismissal proceedings after a complaint alleging bribery in the issuance of an income certificate was found to be prima facie genuine. According to the District Magistrate, Jammu, a resident approached the Deputy Commissioner's office claiming that an official had demanded money for issuing an income certificate. The complaint was immediately examined by the administration. Following verification, the allegations were found to be prima facie true, leading to the suspension of the concerned official.
