Anantnag, July 13, July 13 -- Restoration work is progressing rapidly on the Awoora Nallah section of the Bijbehara, Langanbal, Pahalgam road after flash floods triggered by a recent cloudburst caused extensive damage to the route and disrupted traffic. Teams equipped with heavy machinery have been deployed to remove debris, reinforce damaged sections and expedite the restoration of vehicular movement along the affected stretch. Officials supervising the work said the repair operation is being carried out on a priority basis due to the road's importance as a key access route to the tourist destination of Pahalgam and several adjoining areas.
