Jammu, Oct 19, Oct. 20 -- Northern Railway's Jammu Division has invited tenders to establish modern warehouses and storage facilities near Anantnag and Pampore railway stations, aiming to strengthen Kashmir's agricultural supply chain and boost trade. The initiative, launched under the Railways' Cargo Related Facility (CRF) Policy dated February 14, 2026, offers private investors a 25-year lease to develop the facilities.The proposed warehouses are expected to benefit apple growers, saffron producers and traders by providing safer storage and easier access to markets across the country.
