Srinagar, October 7, Oct. 7 -- The annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA), popularly known as Sheikh-ul-Aalam and Alamdar-e-Kashmir, commenced at his revered shrine in Charar-i-Sharief, Budgam, on Wednesday with the traditional Poshak Bandi ceremony. The sacred ritual, involving the changing of the cloth covering the blessed grave of the revered Sufi saint, was performed amid religious fervour and devotion. A large number of devotees gathered at the shrine to witness the ceremony and offer prayers.
