Uri Mar 20, March 21 -- In a significant breakthrough, Police in Baramulla have successfully solved two theft cases in Uri involving a mobile shop burglary and a motorcycle theft, and arrested the accused from Humhama, Srinagar. On 07/02/2026, Police Station Uri received a written complaint from Nasir Ahmed Chalkoo son of Abdul Gani Chalkoo resident of Uri stating that during the intervening night of 06/07 February 2026, unknown person(s) broke open the shutter of his mobile shop at Choudhary Complex, Uri and decamped with several mobile phones.
