Srinagar, April 17, April 18 -- Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, J&K Police arrested 09 drug peddlers in Anantnag, Sopore and Awantipora and recovered contraband substances from their possession. A police party from PS Kokernag during naka checking at Hangulgund Kokernag apprehended one individual identified as Nazir Ahmad Dar son of Ab. Gani Dar resident of Bumdoora Kokernag. During search, 7.84 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered from his possession.
