Srinagar, May 11, May 12 -- In continuation of the sustained anti-drug enforcement drive under the 100-Day Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, Police achieved a major success by apprehending seven drug peddlers in separate actions in Sopore, Anantnag and Pulwama and recovering psychotropic substances from their possession. A police party of Police Post Warpora at a checkpoint established at Janwara Crossing intercepted two suspicious persons who tried to flee but were apprehended tactfully. During search, psychotropic substance Alprazolam tablets were recovered from their possession.
