Anantnag, May 13, May 14 -- Continuing its sustained efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Shopian & Anantnag and recovered contraband substances from their possession. In Shopian, during routine naka checking at Aaripora Turkwangam, a police party from Police Post Turkwangam apprehended a suspected person identified as Mohd Yousuf Sheikh son of Sanaullah Sheikh resident of Kangnu Turkwangam. During search, 928 grams of Charas-like substance was recovered from his possession.
