Srinagar, April 23, April 24 -- Continuing its sustained crackdown on drug trafficking under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Anantnag, Sopore and recovered contraband substances from their possession. In Anantnag, acting on a specific tip-off, Police conducted a raid at the residential house of Farooq Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Rasool Wani resident of Nowbugh Veeri Bijbehara. During search, 371 grams of charas powder-like substance weighing 371 was recovered from the premises. The accused was arrested on the spot, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
