Srinagar, Sep 25, Sept. 25 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is scheduled to move a resolution in the Legislative Assembly calling for the restoration of full statehood to the Union Territory. As per the supplementary list of business issued by the Assembly Secretariat, the proposed resolution urges the Government of India to restore full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir at the earliest. The resolution also refers to earlier decisions of the House dated June 26, 2000, and November 6, 2024, and proposes that the fresh resolution be forwarded to the Government of India for consideration.
