Jammu, July 24, July 25 -- Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Northern Command, conducted a comprehensive review of the security framework and operational preparedness of hinterland formations in the Kashmir Valley during his visit on July 22-23, 2026.During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the integrated intelligence architecture, revised operational procedures, and strengthened joint response mechanisms adopted by the security forces to effectively address evolving security challenges.
