Srinagar, March 19 -- No confirmed sighting of the crescent moon has been reported from any part of Jammu and Kashmir so far, the Grand Mufti said on Thursday evening. The announcement comes amid widespread cloud cover and inclement weather conditions across the region, significantly reducing the chances of visibility. The update is crucial as the sighting of the crescent determines the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr.
