Srinagar, Sep 18, Sept. 19 -- National Health Mission (NHM) employees in Jammu and Kashmir have called off their ongoing strike on Friday after a written assurance from Minister for Health and Medical Education Sakeena Itoo over their pending demands. The decision was taken following deliberations between the representatives of NHM employees and the government, wherein the Health Minister assured the striking employees that their genuine demands would be taken up for consideration and appropriate action.After the written assurance, the NHM employees decided to suspend their protest and resume duties, bringing much-needed relief to healthcare services that had been hit due to the strike.The NHM employees were pressing for resolution of the...
