Srinagar, April 6, April 7 -- Fresh hope has emerged for children with special needs in Jammu and Kashmir as the government moves to expand dedicated educational facilities across the Valley. Officials said a new institute building has been completed in Anantnag, while land has been identified in Sopore for another school. With these additions, the number of special schools catering to children with hearing and speech impairments will rise to three, alongside the existing Abhinandan Home in Srinagar's Solina area.Both upcoming institutions will offer boarding facilities and specialized learning environments tailored to the needs of such students.
