Nagaland steps up welfare push for ex-servicemen
Kohima, Sep 2, Sept. 3 -- Recognising the invaluable service, sacrifices and contribution of the Armed Forces, the 24th Annual Meeting of the Rajya Sainik Board and State Managing Committee of the Special Fund for Relief & Rehabilitation of Ex-Servicemen was held at Lok Bhavan, Kohima. The meeting was presided over by Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav and attended by the Inspector General, IGAR (North), along with senior officials from the Armed Forces and civil administration.The deliberations focused on strengthening welfare mechanisms for ex-servicemen and their dependants, with particular emphasis on relief, rehabilitation and measures aimed at improving their overall well-being.The meeting provided an important platform for repres...
