Srinagar, Sep 18, Sept. 18 -- Minister for Education, Social Welfare, Health and Medical Education Sakeena Itoo on Thursday reviewed the status of human resource management (HRM) matters in the School Education Department, directing officials to expedite pending cases relating to seniority, promotions, higher-post placements, regularisation, recruitment and service rules. Chairing a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat, the Minister stressed time-bound disposal, transparency and close monitoring of all service-related matters, saying an efficient HR management system was essential for the smooth functioning of the department.
