Srinagar, Aug 2, Aug. 3 -- A joint team of security forces, comprising Pulwama Police, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Army's 44 Rashtriya Rifles, apprehended a man during a naka checking operation near Fruit Mandi Pachhar in the Rajpora area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Saturday. Officials said that the accused has been identified as Tawseef Ahmad Dar, a resident of Drubgam Payeen in Pulwama district. During a thorough search, the security team recovered one hand grenade and a number of anti-national posters from his possession.The accused was immediately taken into custody, while the recovered grenade and other incriminating material were seized as evidence.Police have registered a case under the relevant provi...
