Imphal, Sep 13, Sept. 14 -- In a major success against insurgent networks, coordinated intelligence-based operations by the Assam Rifles and Indian Army formations under Spear Corps, in collaboration with the Manipur Police, led to the recovery of substantial quantities of weapons, ammunition and other war-like stores in Chandel and Churachandpur districts of Manipur. Acting on specific intelligence inputs, the security forces launched coordinated operations at identified locations in the two districts.
