Mokokchung, Sep 27, Sept. 28 -- Major General H S Mavi, Inspector General Assam Rifles (North), visited Dessoi Post, Longtho, Mokokchung, on September 25 and reviewed the operational preparedness, deployment, administration and welfare of troops. During the visit, Maj Gen Mavi was briefed on the prevailing security situation, operational deployment, intelligence inputs and coordination mechanisms with the civil administration.The review focused on the readiness of troops and the effectiveness of existing arrangements for maintaining security and responding to emerging requirements in the area.
