Srinagar, Aug 28, Aug. 28 -- Senior IPS officer M.K. Sinha on Friday took charge as Additional Director General of Police, CID J&K, replacing Nitish Kumar, who has been transferred and posted as ADG Armed J&K. Sinha, a 1996-batch IPS officer, was earlier serving as ADG Headquarters at Police Headquarters, J&K. Soon after assuming charge at CID Headquarters, Sinha chaired a meeting with senior officers of the department and reviewed its overall functioning and intelligence-related activities.
