Srinagar, April 13, April 14 -- A police case has been filed against a senior lecturer posted in north Kashmir's Sopore town after a girl student accused him of harassment. The incident triggered a protest by students within the school premises, following which a police team led by SSP Sopore Iftikhar Talib rushed to the spot and pacified the agitating students.Senior Superintendent of Police Sopore, Iftikhar Talib said the lecturer has been booked and an investigation set into motion after the girl student's allegations.Meanwhile, Directorate of School Education Kashmir suspended the lecturer with immediate effect while inquiry into his conduct has also been ordered.As per an official order, Ghulam Hasan Mir, senior lecturer Urdu at GHSS...
