Kulgam, July 11, July 11 -- Residents of the Bogund, Soper and Sonigam areas in south Kashmir's Kulgam district have urged the district administration to take immediate action against the illegal roadside parking of heavy vehicles, saying the practice has turned the link road into a potential accident spot. In a representation submitted to the Deputy Commissioner, Senior Superintendent of Police and the Assistant Regional Transport Officer of Kulgam, the residents alleged that trucks and other heavy vehicles remain parked along both sides of the Bogund, Soper and Sonigam link road for extended periods, causing traffic congestion and obstructing the smooth movement of vehicles.
