Srinagar, Oct. 24 -- The Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Innovations (CIRI), University of Kashmir (KU), has been awarded Centre of Excellence status by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, Government of India, in recognition of its work in biomedical research in the region.Congratulating the CIRI team, Vice-Chancellor, KU, Prof. Nilofer Khan, said, "This recognition by ICMR reflects the quality of research being undertaken at CIRI and the dedication of its researchers.
