New Delhi, Mar 6, March 6 -- Several candidates with Kashmiri backgrounds have featured in the final results of the Civil Services Examination 2025 declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), which has recommended 958 candidates for appointment to various services including the IAS, IFS and IPS. According to the official list released by the commission, candidates with Kashmiri surnames such as Towseef Ahmad Ganaie, Muneeb Afzal Parrah, Mohammed Ashmil Shah and Irfan Ahmed Lone are among those recommended for appointment to the civil services.
