Anantnag, Sep 10, Sept. 11 -- At 75, Muhammad Abdullah Wani continues to keep alive a fading tradition in Kashmir-running a water-powered mill that has served generations in Bamdoora village of Kokernag in south Kashmir's Anantnag district. For Wani, water is not merely a source of power; it is the lifeline of his four-decade-old mill. "When there is a power outage in an electric mill, the oil dries up and customers do not get the right quantity from mustard seeds. We do not face such problems here," Wani says proudly while explaining the workings of his traditional mill.
