Srinagar, March 19, March 20 -- Markets across the Kashmir Valley are witnessing a subdued rush this Eid-ul-Fitr, as unseasonal rainfall and the ongoing geopolitical tensions in Iran impact shopping activity. Traders report lower footfall compared to previous years, with the wet weather dampening the festive spirit and bringing an unexpected chill. Over the past week, temperatures in the region have dropped to around 10degC from the 20degC recorded in February, adding to shoppers' reluctance to visit central markets.
