Srinagar, March 1 -- Mumbai, Feb 28 - A delegation of journalists from across India visited the Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) on Friday as part of a press tour organized by the Press Information Bureau, gaining a first-hand look at the country's emerging centre of excellence for Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR). Established in September 2024 with a one-time budget of Rs.391.15 crore, IICT operates under a public-private partnership model with FICCI and CII.
