Srinagar, Oct 16, Oct. 17 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has suspended Parvaz Abdullah, General Manager (Purchases and Stores) of the Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC), over alleged lapses in maintaining tendering and procurement records related to Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF).According to Government Order No. 91-JK(TR) of 2026, issued by the Transport Department, the records concerning the procurement process were reportedly not maintained in a systematic and readily traceable manner, raising concerns over official accountability and the proper custody of documents.The government has ordered formal departmental proceedings to establish the facts, fix responsibility and examine the role of the officials concerned.Pen...
